load through boot into the vertical shaft impact crusher. The materials are divided into two parts by the distributor. One enters rapidly rotating impeller through middle of the distributor. Then the impeller speeds up immediately with acceleration hundreds of times higher than acceleration of gravity. The materials are thrown out through 3 evenly distributed flow passages from the impeller at a speed of 60-70m/s to be crushed together with the part of materials left around the distributor, and then impacted to the material lining in vortex cavity branch. After rebound by the lining, the materials are impacted transversely upward to top of the vortex cavity, and then move downward. Materials transmitted from flow passages of impeller form a continuous material curtain.
A piece of material undergoes random impact, friction and grinding for at least twice in the vortex crushing cavity. The crushed materials are discharged through discharge slot on the lower part. The equipment forms closed circuit with circulative screening system. Generally, the materials will become less than 20 meshes after circulation for 3 times. During the whole crushing process, the materials impact and crush with each other. Not contacting directly with metallic components, the materials are crushed by impact and friction with the lining, so as to reduce corner pollution and extend the time of mechanical wear. Dust pollution is eliminated by ingenious self-circulating air in the vortex cavity.
